First Garden Update

March 15, 2024

This is my first garden update for 2026. I'm excited to pick up where I left off from last year. The theme of this year is: "Try it!"

What I've Done

• Added 6 ft³ dirt to the garden bed to get it closer to the height of the walls

• Bought seeds:

  • Flowers: Zinnia (2x), Sunflower (Skyscraper and Teddy Bear), Marigolds, Echinacea (realized they are perennials so see you next year)
  • Herbs: Basil, Cilantro, Parsley, Dill
  • Vegetables: Peas, Lettuce, Scallions, Cucumbers

• Created a cover for the bed out of old wire panels that look like they were from a rabbit hutch.

• Planted peas, lettuce, and onions, both outside and in the peat pellets under the grow lights.
